At the beginning of this year, I had an ambitious goal of clearing my to-watch queue and actually finishing various the anime I started.

I noticed that this year, I somewhat outgrew Shonen Jump. I don't have a lot of motivation to finish My Hero Academia season 3, Demon Slayer, or The Promised Neverland. I don't dislike them, I just thought they were okay, and I'll probably finish them eventually.

My favorite anime that came out this year is Attack on Titan season 3 part 2, Fruits Basket (2019), and Vinland Saga (which I will probably finish next weekend or so). Consequently, the only anime I'm looking forward to in 2020 is the final season of Attack on Titan, and the continuation of Fruits Basket (2019).

My current favorite anime is still Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but Attack on Titan has a good chance of unseating it depending on how it ends.

I will probably watch more movies in 2020, since I'm somewhat burned out on anime currently.

Didn't really make much progress on finishing things since April. The only thing I finished was the new Attack on Titan season, which concluded yesterday. The new AOT season is also the first time I've kept up with a currently airing anime since Attack on Titan first premiered way back in 2013. Hanging out in weekly discussion threads really brought back the hype for me and I'm super excited for season 4 in 2020. When it ends, and if the ending is amazing, I think I just might have a new top favorite anime.

I've also picked up The Promised Neverland, Demon Slayer, and the new Fruits Basket, but I'm just slowly working my way through them right now.

Also Neon Genesis Evangelion and Code Geass are now both on Netflix, so I'm probably going to give them a re-watch soon.

Looks like January is an anime month. I've completed four series, and finished the first season of two more. Also stared one things from my watchlist (Black Lagoon).

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann managed to rocket its way up to become my favorite anime right now. Let's see how long it keeps that position.
